Glen Sheppard

My first introduction to modeling in my younger years was the Star Trek AMT/Ertl Romulan Bird of Prey, which I didn't do such a good job on. My next attempt was the USS Enterprise from "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" when I was about 11. The work on that wasn't so good, either. Learning from those mistakes, I built a couple of Enterprise-refits from "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" and the Enterprise-D from "Star Trek: The Next Generation". Sadly, a vast majority of my Star Trek models suffered massive structural damage from my latest move. Good thing I have extras.

I began building model aircraft while I was an Air Cadet in Halifax, in addition to famous cars like the Knight 2000 from "Knight Rider" and the General Lee from "The Dukes of Hazzard". My current modeling interests are starships from the Star Trek universe as I am slowly re-introducing myself into modeling after a lengthy hiatus, thanks largely in part to my new friends of the Maritime Science Fiction Modelers, including Robert LePine, Stephen Loftus, and Mike Harrop.

I work for the military and when I'm not working on model kits, I can usually be found behind a camera or in front of a computer working with HTML.
